Installation of Skylight window at Griffith Avenue

On this project the brief was to bring light into a main room, the client asked for a roof light in the kitchen to brighten up the room that would otherwise be dark.

We had to cut into the existing bitumen roof and support it from below while we reinforced the roof timbers.

Once the skylight opening was finished the roof membrane was raised around the area where the skylight sat as this would be were potential rain would pool.

When the new roof felt was layed the whole roof was then treated with a polymer coating to enhance the waterproofing of the roof .

The completed project was a great success and completely enhanced the room, the client was very happy with the finished project.
